Three Day Live-in Doula
There are 40(ish) weeks of anticipation for your baby’s arrival home. You prepare and buy baby clothes, feeding items, cribs, and decor. You will prepare for labor and decide where and how you would like to give birth. We often predict what this little being will look like and wait for their arrival. Your baby is finally here .. now what? This is where our three-day live-in doula care comes in.
The first three days home.
The first three days home with your baby is a memorable time. This is your first introduction to parenthood in your day-to-day life back home. This time is also filled with a lot of unknowns! There are many amazing parts to these first days home, but there is also a great sense of overwhelm. Whether it’s your first baby or your fifth, there has just been a huge shift in the house. There is now this tiny being that requires all of your energy, and you just birthed your baby.
How can we help?
Bay City Doulas offers live-in care packages for the first three days home to help your family’s transition. This care is entirely customizable and tailored to your individual family’s needs. Your doula is there to smooth out all the edges and seamlessly bounce around the house, offering support where it is needed. This will translate into different areas of support throughout the time we are with you at your house. During this time our main focus is on you as the birthing person and your needs each moment.
