Can you believe it? Christmas 2021 is right around the corner. This year has flown by for many, and now we are back at the holidays! Picking out a Christmas tree is one of our favorite parts of holiday celebrations and traditions, and this week I am here to share some of our favorite Christmas tree farms in the San Francisco Bay Area!
Finding the perfect Christmas tree is one of our favorite family hunts each year. With roots in snowy Vermont, this has been my family’s tradition since I can remember. In contrast, beautiful and sunny California doesn’t have the same winter wonderland feeling during the holidays as cold and snowy Vermont; cutting down your tree while sipping hot cocoa is sure to get your entire family in the holiday spirit!
Santa’s Tree Farm and Village—Half Moon Bay, CA
Santa’s Tree Farm and Village is located in beautiful Half Moon Bay, making this an ideal location for anyone living in San Francisco that is ready to get out of the city to find their beautiful tree. With over 487 acres of land to roam, you are sure to find a tree that suits the entire family’s preferences here! Crest Ranch—Santa Cruz, CA
Crest Ranch is a favorite of my family. Nestled into the Santa Cruz Mountains, this tree farm is a great place to make a day of it and find your perfect tree in serene nature. Crest ranch was directly affected by the CZU complex fire in 2020. Currently, there are 9 acres to access and find your perfect tree from, with such a beautiful selection this will be an easy task! Crest Ranch provides a snack bar and even has a beautiful scenic spot for a family picnic. Fill your picnic basket with your family holiday treats and head over to Crest ranch this holiday season!
Little Hills Christmas Tree Farm—Petaluma, CA
Little hills Christmas tree farm is located in beautiful Petaluma. This farm is a great place for all families in Marin County! This Christmas tree farm has both cut your own, and freshly cut trees to choose from. After cutting down your tree head over to the family farm to visit with goats, alpacas, pigs, and more!
